SSV-01 – SOUND SHIELD VACUUM KIT

The new Sound Shield technology from Gast Manufacturing is the only technology of its kind. It significantly reduces sound levels up to a 25% dB(A) drop and a 40% Sone decrease in perceived loudness at open flow compared to a standard Gast vacuum pump or air compressor without affecting performance. Installation is simple whether on the manufacturing line or as a retrofit at your product location. Sound Shield is a convenient, integrated, one-source solution — eliminating the time, cost and complexity of other less-effective sound dampening products such as foam insulation, mufflers, covers or cabinets. • The AS321 Silencer(s) should be replaced at 2000 hours or 2 years, whichever comes first, to prevent air restrictions to keep your compressor or pump running at peak performance.  Silencer SKU:AS321. 

• It is recommended that if the upgrade is being performed on a pump with more than 1000 hours or 1 year of use that a Gast preventative maintenance kit is also used.

• Kit includes: Installation guide, (1) attenuation chamber, (1) spacer plate with O-ring, elbow and silencer, (4) 10-32 screws, (1) unattached elbow, (1) AS321 silencer, and (4) port plugs.
