SSP-87R6-02 - SOUND SHIELD 87R TWIN PRESSURE: BIASED VALVE KIT

The new Sound Shield technology from Gast Manufacturing is the only technology of its kind. Gast SSP-87R6-02 fits all Gast rocking piston 87R twin cylinder models with a biased relief valve, used for pressure.

How do you know if your 87R twin uses a biased relief valve?  If the Gast part number includes an “R”, the pump was installed with a biased relief valve. Example: 87R642-101R-N470X. Still not sure? Email technical.gast@idexcorp.com or call +1 269-934-1130 and provide the Gast part number.

• The AS321 Silencer(s) should be replaced at 2000 hours or 2 years, whichever comes first, to prevent air restrictions to keep your compressor or pump running at peak performance.  Silencer SKU:AS321. 
• It is recommended that if the upgrade is being performed on a pump with more than 1000 hours or 1 year of use that a Gast preventative maintenance kit is also used.
• Kit includes: Installation guide, (2) attenuation chambers with internal silencers installed, (1) valve plate with (2) custom O-rings and (2) circular O-rings, and (6) port plugs.
